How do I register my child for a class?
Registration can be completed online, over the phone (703) 730-7858, or by stopping at the front desk during studio office hours.
How can I pay my tuition?
Tuition can be paid online or at the front desk. We accept check, cash, and credit cards.
What should my dancer wear to class?
Dancers should wear clothing appropriate to the class. Ballet dancers need ballet shoes, leotard, tights, and hair in a bun. Jazz, contemporary, lyrical, musical theater, tap, cheer, pom and hip hop dancers should wear dance attire that allows movement and have their hair pulled off their face. Tumble Time students should wear clothing that allows movement and bare feet. Hair needs to be pulled off face. No street clothing or jewelry please.
Where can I purchase dancewear?
Dancewear and shoes can be purchased at the studio.
How long is a session?
We offer a ten month session that follows the school year calendar, running from September- June. During the summer months, we offer camps, workshops and classes.
What’s the earliest age a dancer can start?
Are there any other expenses outside of tuition?
There is a small annual registration fee. There is also an $65 recital fee due in January. Recital costume payments are due in February and costs vary by class.
Can my dancer try out a class before enrolling?
Yes, we offer FREE trial classes. Please contact us to schedule your visit.
I missed fall registration in August, can I still enroll?
Yes, we accept new dancers throughout the year as space allows. We highly recommend starting earlier in the school year to get the full benefit of our curriculum.
Can I observe dance class each week?
Yes! We have observation windows for each studio and a state of the art video system. We encourage parents to watch and play an active role in their child’s education.
When will my dancer perform?
We produce an annual recital each spring. All classes will perform. If your dancer is looking for additional performing opportunities they should consider auditioning for our Show Team, our Competition Team, or our production of the Nutcracker.
My dancer is older and has no dance experience, are there classes for him/her?
We have classes for students of all ages and levels. Please contact us so we can help identify where the best place to start is.
Do you offer classes for boys or adults?
All of our dance and tumbling classes are co-ed. Boys are welcome to enroll in any of our classes. Dance is a great way to learn musicality, coordination, balance and social skills. We do offer a “Boys Only” hip hop class Tuesday’s from 5:15-6:00pm. We also offer adult dance classes. Please check the schedule for our current adult offerings.
